2006 Year in Review
January, we made a trip to Chance Ridge where AJ got to hang out and watch the events going on. He did real good while his hay bag was full. Once it was empty, he started getting antsy. I also hauled him to a friends house while I rode Cora and he got to hang out in her round pen.
The rest of the winter he chilled at home while I rode Cora.
Spring and Summer came and AJ got to play and grow while Cora had to work her hiney carrying me on all the trail rides that we did. I did do some ground work with him and took him for walks in the woods and along the road. I even oiled up an old saddle that was given to me and put it on him.
Here he is after a couple of weeks of being at the trainers.
And finally riding at home!!
December we headed back to Chance Ridge and did some riding that night too. He did real good for being around a lot of different horses going all over the place.
We've got some goals for 2007 and I'll be sharing them as we get er done.
