July 1989 to December 2004

Update:  Sadly we had to put Hulkster to sleep on December 30, 2004.  His health was failing and after giving us so many years of enjoyment, it was our turn to repay him.  He is deeply missed by Mike, myself and the rest of our dogs.  We are both happy that he got to spend his last year at our new house enjoying the smells. 

I am Mike's Pride and Joy. I've been to many different places, lakes, hunting grounds to mention.

The best vacation memory is when we were in Pierre South Dakota on Lake Oahe. The temperature had been over 100 degrees the entire week that we were there so Mom and Dad decided to head up the lake to fish in a shady cove. We found a great place although there wasn't much shade. Mom put up her umbrella, but Duncan and Foxy hogged all of the shade so Mom took a jacket out of storage and went to shore to make a bed for me. Duncan thought it was too cool so he pushed me out..I showed him. I headed around the bend and that piqued Duncan's interest as he thinks that he needs to be first to discover something new. I knew this and had it all planned out. When Duncan charged ahead of me, I turned around and trotted back to the jacket and made myself at home. Mom was laughing hysterically in the boat and wishing that she had the camcorder going to get this on video. Duncan came back wondering what all the commotion was about and discovered me laying on the jacket. He pouted and tried to squeeze back on. I didn't budge. He finally gave up and headed back to the boat.  

I tolerate Mom bringing all of these different animals into my domain, but secretly, I like to see what she brings home. Maybe another playmate for me??!!
