Kitten

We have a new addition to our Family! A CAT ugh. March 1998 my Mom brought home a kitten that had been caught up in a fan belt. You know in the winter how cats love to climb up into motors to keep warm, well, this kitten didn't escape before the motor was turned on. He had a broken tail and his front leg was broken in 4 or 5 different places. Mom brought him home so he could heel up and then find a new home. Well this kitten decided that this was the PERFECT home for him to stay in. After 3 months of Foster Care, I overheard Dad tell Mom that she could keep him if she wanted to. So we've now got a CAT that actually thinks that he is a DOG. I think he got hit too hard in the head and is still a bit confused.

Kitten is a very SPOILED cat.  He gets to eat on the counter, cuddle on laps and even sleeps under the covers!

Kitten has adjusted just fine to living with dogs.  At our old house, he got to go outside and climbed trees.  He even got stuck in a walnut tree and Mom had to go rescue him.  He also has certainly made himself at home here too.  He sleeps UNDER the covers with Mom and he gives her kisses all the time.  Kitten isn’t allowed to go outside at our new house even though our fence is 5 foot tall.  I overheard Mom tell him that he couldn’t go outside because something about owls and foxes that lives in the woods.
